Designing a New Fun Jungle Adventure for the World’s Favourite Juice Drink

Available in more than 120 countries worldwide, Capri-Sun is one of the world’s most loved juice drink, enjoyed by young and old adventurers alike. In 2021 they asked us to help develop the story world and character design for a new exciting jungle themed juice.
Our task was to help create a family of jungle animals that would excite kids and parents and reflect the adventurous spirit of a jungle fruit inspired juice drink. After some initial strategic thinking – in particular, choosing the right animals and styling, we partnered with a specialist character design agency in Sao Paulo, Brazil to create a family of fun exotic animals.
The result was a suite of jungle characters bursting with personality. Working with 3D modelling software, allowed us to create a hyper-realistic character style – rich in fur texture and worthy of any blockbuster animation movie. Our new fun gang is led by a loveable Panda, along with other friends such as the Sleepy Sloth, Mischievous Monkey, Gorgeous Gecko and others. Our final touch to this immersive jungle world was the idea of limited edition two-sided ‘spot the difference’ box design. Kids are challenged to find 10 differences between the front and the back of the box – encouraging them to explore their new exotic environment. The pack design is currently being rolled out across European markets and beyond.
